INSTANT NIGHTMARE!
From their new album ‘Lovers Rock', Montréal quintet The Dears asked us to create a music video for their track 'Instant Nightmare!' to release with their album launch. As it just about to be filmed by Alexandre and Natan, the lockdown began to set in place in Canada, and we had to schedule a new shooting done remotely. Part of the animation is based on rotoscoping and to rest is pretty much a chaos of lyrics and vivid imagery that echoes the song’s grim and somber themes and eerily reflects the situation we’re all going through.
